After speaking to my focus group. I found out they wanted more content advertised on the front cover and a clearer idea of the content section.
I created a skyline across both of my front cover's which reinforces the genre of the magazine and the sections included inside, whilst framing the cover and keeping in line with the style of the cover.
I then created coverlines that stretch along the bottom of both of my covers.
Both of these reinforce the colour scheme, therefore further creating a sense of brand identity, while they advertise different stories that are featured on the contents pages. This increase of content featured on my front cover would help to attract my mass market target audience demographic. Furthermore, the intertextual reference to the TV show friends through the use of their logo would be recognise day my target audience and therefore, this sense of fulfilment that is arguably created would interest them to purchase the magazine, further maximising sale profits.
