In this post, I have shared some of the mock magazine layouts that I sketched out in the planning stages of my NEA.
As I had decided that I wanted to create an Arts based magazine, I had a quick brainstorm of some initial ideas that I could use for stories across my front covers, contents pages and website pages and how I could incorporate an element of intertextuality into each of these products. From my research I discovered that there was a variety of entertainment magazine types and therefore I decided that I wanted to create a hybrid between magazines like Backstage magazine and Best magazine in terms of the amount of content displayed on the front cover, contents page and website and they layout in which this information is conveyed. Some of my initial ideas included;
I also sketched out mock-ups of my magazine so that I had a rough guideline as to what i was aiming for for my final product.
